Overview
The Burger Slayer℠ customer loyalty program (the "Program") is a fun way for you to learn more about Carl's Jr.® and earn rewards at the same time.
You can earn points in many ways, including by simply exploring the Carl's Jr. website interactive living room. You can then redeem your points for great rewards, such as coupons, screensavers and more.

Becoming a Member
No purchase is necessary to become a member and participate in the Program.
To become a member, simply click here to fill out an enrollment form. As part of the enrollment process, you will be asked to create and use a password and user ID that are unique to your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this information, and for otherwise ensuring that your account is used only by you. You may maintain only one account. Your account is non-transferable.
Membership in the Program is open only to individuals who are legal U.S. residents and are at least 18 years of age. By enrolling in the Program, you agree that you meet these eligibility requirements.
By joining the Program, you also agree that you will abide by all terms and conditions of these Program rules (the "Rules") as well as the Terms of Use applicable to the Carl's Jr. website.
Membership is valid only in connection with participating Carl's Jr. restaurants.
Employees of CKE Restaurants, Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates and franchisees, and members of their immediate families, are not eligible for membership.

Earning Points
As a member of the Program, you will earn points in a variety of ways, as determined by us from time to time in our sole discretion, including, without limitation, by enrolling in the Program, signing up for our newsletter and interacting with certain features of our website.
Points have no cash value and are non-transferable.

Redeeming Points for Rewards
Our website lists the rewards that are available for redemption at any given time. We encourage you to check the website regularly, since reward offerings can be added and removed from time to time without notice.
Once you have earned enough points for a desired reward, your can redeem your points. Upon completing the redemption process, you will be advised how to claim your reward. Many rewards can be claimed right away, but some can only be claimed after a number of days. Please claim your rewards as soon as they are available, as any reward that is unclaimed within 10 days may be forfeited. Please further note that points are surrendered at the time of redemption, and will not be returned for any reason – even in the event a reward is unclaimed. Rewards are not convertible to cash. Downloadable rewards will be available for a maximum of three downloads prior to expiring.
Program points and rewards may be subject to tax liability. Any tax liability, including disclosure, relating to the receipt or use of points or rewards is your sole responsibility.

Termination
You have the right to terminate your membership in the Program at any time.
If you do not redeem points during a calendar year, your membership will automatically terminate on the last day of that calendar year.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate your membership and/or void all or a portion of your point balance at any time and for any reason, including, without limitation, if points have been issued, received or redeemed through computer error, fraud or theft, through illegal means or in any manner not authorized in these Rules. These rights are in addition to any and all other legal or equitable remedies that may be available to us under applicable law.
We further reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate the Program for any reason, at any time, without prior notice, and without any obligation or liability to you.

Marketing Materials
By becoming a member of the Program, you agree to receive advertising, marketing materials and other communications from us. However, if you later decide you would prefer not to receive such communications, please select "Unsubscribe" in the body of the marketing materials.

Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, by enrolling in the Program, you consent to the use of your name, biographical information, voice and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes, without additional consideration.

Interpretation and Modification of Rules; Limitation of Liability; Indemnity
We have the sole right and discretion to interpret and apply the Rules and Terms of Use, as may be modified from time to time. All decisions by us with respect to the Rules and Terms of Use are final.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to modify these Rules, including, without limitation, to impose membership time limits, to change the ways in which you can earn points, to change the amount of points you can earn in a given period or for a given promotion, and to add, remove and otherwise change point values, rewards and reward levels, in all instances at any time, without prior notice and without any obligation or liability to you. The accumulation of points does not necessarily entitle you to any rights with respect to points or rewards; in accumulating points, you may not rely upon the availability of any reward or reward level.
The Program, including, without limitation, the awarding of points and rewards, is void where prohibited by law. Other restrictions or exclusions may apply that are not set forth in these Rules.
All rewards are used by you at your sole risk and responsibility. CKE Restaurants, Inc. and its subsidiaries, owners, stockholders, franchisees, affiliates, agents, and their respective directors, officers, employees, successors and assigns (collectively, "Program Entities") assume no liability or responsibility, financial or otherwise, for any damage, loss or injury resulting from or arising out of your participation in the Program or acceptance or use of any reward. In addition, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Program Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from the Program, and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against the Program Entities. You further hereby acknowledge that the Program Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the Program or acceptance or use of any reward.

Trademarks, Copyrights and Restrictions
The trademarks Carl's Jr. and Burger Slayer are trademarks of Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc. and/or an affiliate. Other content on the Carl's Jr. website and on prizes issued as Program rewards, including, without limitation, text, images, illustrations, and audio and video clips, are owned by Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc., its affiliates, licensors and/or third party content providers (collectively "IP Owners"). All such trademarks and content (collectively, "Content") is protected, as applicable, by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, and/or other intellectual property rights belonging to one or more of the IP Owners. Such Content is solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute and/or exploit the Content in any way (including by e-mail or other electronic means) for commercial use without the prior written consent of Carl Karcher Enterprises, Inc. and/or other IP Owners. You may request consent by contacting the Carl's Jr. Legal Department at the address set forth at the bottom of these Rules. Without prior written consent, your use of such Content for any purpose other than personal, non-commercial use is unlawful and prohibited. As a condition to your use of the Carl's Jr. website and any rewards, you warrant to us that you will not use the website or rewards for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Rules or Terms of Use.

Disputes
The Program is governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of California. The exclusive forum and venue for any dispute shall be in Orange County, California.
